Are you interested in working with Des Moines' best DJs on top-of-the-line sound and lighting equipment at fun, upscale events? Do you have an interest in music or in becoming a DJ? If so, this is your opportunity to become a DJ for Thunder & Lightning Sound and Lighting--Des Moines' premiere mobile DJ!
We are seeking outgoing, professional, and dependable individuals for our assistant DJ positions. Applicants should be able to work well under pressure in front of large crowds and should show an interest in music and the DJ profession. No previous experience is necessary, but applicants should have the ability and desire to learn about music selection, basic audio/video principles, DJ computer software, and other basic DJ functions. All of our DJs work in teams consisting of one company owner (head DJ) and one assistant DJ. The assistant DJ would be expected to assist the head DJ in all aspects of running high-end, successful events (primarily wedding receptions).

1) Work on Saturday afternoons and evenings.
2) Work throughout the summer and fall months (possibly more if he or she desires).
3) Be very dependable.
